If you are new to church, coming back after a break, or visiting for the first time, you are welcome here. We are not trying to build a crowd. We are building a family. From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel safe, seen, and free to take your next step with Jesus.

What happens at a gathering?

 

A typical service includes:

• Worship (lively, heartfelt, Christ-centred)

• Preaching from the Bible (clear, practical, faith-building)

• Prayer and ministry moments (no pressure, always respectful)

• Community connection before and after (you can move at your pace)

 

How long is church?

Around [70-90] minutes.

 

What should I wear?

Whatever you are comfortable in.

 

 

Kids are a big deal here

 

We have a vibrant kids ministry called The Haven, designed to help children feel safe, loved, and excited about Jesus.

 

The Hive (littlies): Gentle, caring, and playful with simple Bible stories, songs, and calm routines.

The Hub (ages 5 to 12): High-energy, Bible-based, engaging teaching, small groups, and games.

 

Safety matters

All kids team members and volunteers hold current Working With Children Checks, and we operate with strong safeguarding processes under Safer Churches practices.

 

 

First time made easy

Step 1: Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early if you can

Step 2: Look for the Welcome Team (we will help you with everything)

Step 3: If you have kids, we will help you check them in

Step 4: Grab a seat and breathe. You are in the right place

After the service

 

After the service, you are welcome to hang around, meet people, ask questions, and grab a coffee. If you would like help taking a next step, we can point you towards:

FAQ 1: Do I have to sing or speak?

No. You can participate as much or as little as you like.

 

FAQ 2: Will I be asked for money?

No pressure. Giving is for those who call The Open Church home.

 

FAQ 3: Can someone pray with me?

Yes. We have a prayer team available after the service.

 

FAQ 4: What about my kids if they are nervous?

That is normal. Our team is gentle, patient, and will help your family settle in.
