We keep announcements in our services minimal, because most updates, events, and next steps are shared through our WhatsApp groups so you can stay in the loop without the long noticeboard moment.

OPEN CHATS
Ten Commandments 

  1. Thou shalt keep Jesus at the centre.
    If it doesn’t build faith, hope, and love, it might not need to be posted.
     

  2. Thou shalt speak with honour and kindness.
    We don’t tear people down here, we build them up.
     

  3. Thou shalt communicate clearly and simply.
    If your message needs a sermon intro, just message a leader instead.
     

  4. Thou shalt honour time and attention. (8am-8pm only)
    People are working, studying, adulting, and trying to love Jesus in peace.
     

  5. Thou shalt protect unity in the community.
    This chat should feel safe, warm, and encouraging, with no gossip.
     

  6. Thou shalt not spam the chat.
    One solid message beats fifteen.
     

  7. Thou shalt not send long voice notes.
    Please don’t turn the chat into a 7-minute sermon.
     

  8. Thou shalt not screenshot or share private messages.
    Confidentiality is part of honour. Trust is how real community grows.
     

  9. Thou shalt not argue or stir drama.
    If there’s tension, take it private, be humble, and pursue peace.
     

  10. Thou shalt not paste links from other platforms into the chat.
    This is for community and discipleship, not external scrolling and rabbit holes.
